Rod End Bearing

Overview

The rod end bearing accessory may be used with many of our range of load cells and is particularly suitable for tension measurement where self-alignment of the force path is desirable.  Such joints are used on the ends of control rods, steering links, tie rods, or anywhere a precision articulating joint is required. It consists of a precision ball swivel with an opening, through which a bolt or other attaching hardware may pass, pressed into a circular steel casing with a threaded shaft attached.
